Aino Kaltiaisen ja monen muun unelma näyttää käyvän toteen. Lieksa on saamassa liikuntahallin nopealla aikataululla.
Iloisia uutisia Lieksaan liikuntahallia odottaneille. Pohjois-Karjalan Osuuskauppa on valmis rakentamaan liikuntahallin nopealla aikataululla. Työt alkaisivat syksyllä ja halli olisi valmis jo ensi kesänä.
Halli on tarkoitus rakentaa uimahallin viereen. Tällöin lippukassa ja kahviopalvelut voi tarjota yhdestä palvelupisteestä.
Lieksan kaupunki ja PKO ovat yhteistyössä suunnitelleet hallin peruspiirustukset kevään aikana.
Rakennuksen pohjapiirustuksessa on varaus hyvinvointipalveluihin liittyvälle yritystoiminnalle. PKO on laajentanut toimintaansa voimakkaasti hyvinvointipalveluihin esimerkiksi Joensuun seudulla.
Liikuntahallin rakentaminen on esillä sekä kaupunginhallituksen että valtuuston kokouksessa maanantaina.
